Sixteen Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) students were accepted into LG Display's talent selection program, the 'LGenius Program'.

'LGenius Program' is LG Display's employment-linked program to cultivate R&D experts who will lead future technologies. Under the program, LG Display selects outstanding third-year undergraduate students from the College of Engineering's electrical/electronic and mechanical fields, provides full scholarships, and, together with the university, conducts field‑customized education that combines theory and practical training, after which graduates are hired at a 100% rate.

Accordingly, each of the 16 selected students will receive a scholarship of KRW 10,000,000. During the summer break, they will participate in internships at LG Display to gain practical experience in R&D departments and receive theoretical instruction.

In addition, some applicants with outstanding academic records and demonstrated passion for their majors and for display technology may, following a separate selection process, be granted the opportunity to pursue a master's degree.

Meanwhile, since 2010 LG Display has selected industry–university scholarship students through a talent development agreement with JBNU's College of Engineering. This year, it achieved the notable result of selecting a total of 16 students, exceeding the originally agreed number of 10. The company is also registered as a family company of JBNU, further strengthening their cooperative relationship.
