The University Museum will operate a hands-on cultural education program during the winter break to raise awareness among elementary school students in the province about the value and importance of cultural heritage.

Jointly organized with the Cholla Cultural Research Center, the program—titled "Cultural Heritage Coaching School, GoGo (Archaeology) Museum"—will run from January 8 to 12. It is open to elementary school students in grades 4–6.

Applications will be accepted by phone to the Museum's Curatorial Research Office (063-270-4088) until January 2. A participation fee of KRW 20,000 applies.

The hands-on activities are organized under the theme "Children's Curator Coaching School" and provide a variety of experiences to help participants understand the role of a curator.

Students will plan an exhibition, select artifacts, and create their own exhibition models to experience the process of organizing a museum display. There will also be practical sessions on collection care, including measuring artifacts, preparing object records, and packaging methods.

In addition, a range of programs such as cooperative play activities for families are prepared to help students use their vacation time productively and to expand creative learning experiences.
