Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) has decided to join forces with the National Assembly Research Service (Director Ko Hyun-uk) on education and research related to legislation and policy development.

To this end, the two institutions signed an agreement on December 11 at 10:00 a.m. in the Headquarters Conference Room, with President Seo Geoseok, Director Ko Hyun-uk, and other key officials from both institutions in attendance.

The agreement aims to exchange outstanding research and human resources and to closely share practical knowledge related to legislative activities so that both institutions can take larger steps forward in research and education.

Accordingly, the two institutions will carry out joint research on major legislative issues and policies and will organize academic events.

They also agreed to actively pursue personnel exchanges in education and research, exchange publications and materials, and operate other programs to promote exchange and cooperation.

President Seo Geoseok said, "As JBNU has recently achieved various accomplishments in research and education, this agreement is expected to provide practical assistance to the National Assembly's key policy-making processes," adding, "I hope this agreement will serve as an opportunity for JBNU and the National Assembly Research Service to advance to the next level in research and education."

Director Ko Hyun-uk said, "I am very pleased to sign an agreement with JBNU, which has a strong advantage in education, including ranking first nationwide in student satisfaction recently," and added, "We hope to continue substantive cooperation so that the two institutions can present a new model of collaboration in research and education."
