“Jeonbuk National University (JBNU), which prides itself on being the nation’s top university, is a source of pride for its alumni. I want to contribute to the advancement of my alma mater.”

The Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicle Alumni Association of Current Employees, based in Gunsan (Chairman Yoon Sam-ju; Environmental Engineering, Class of '83), donated 10 million won to support the development of their alma mater.

The association, which comprises 105 members, raised the development fund through pooled contributions to support junior students at their alma mater, which has recently been enhancing its reputation as a leading university in national evaluations. On the 5th, they presented the fund to representatives of the Jeonbuk National University Development Foundation.

Yoon Sam-ju, chairman of the Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicle Alumni Association of Current Employees, said, "As an alumnus, I feel great pride seeing our alma mater grow into a leading university representing Korea," and added, "Although the fund is not large, I hope this development fund will help our juniors grow into greater individuals in a better environment."
