Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) announced that, on September 11, for the 2013 academic year it closed the Early Admission Round 2 application period. For 1,752 places, 11,491 applicants applied, yielding a competition ratio of 6.6 to 1.

By selection type, the General Admission, which offered 1,568 places, received 11,027 applications, a ratio of 7.0 to 1. The Independent Criteria Selection, with 45 places, received 123 applications, a ratio of 2.7 to 1. The Special Talent Admission, with 51 places, received 158 applications, a ratio of 3.1 to 1.

The department with the highest competition ratio in this Early Admission was the Department of IT Information Engineering, College of Engineering, in the General Admission. It offered 18 places and received 377 applications, a ratio of 20.94 to 1.

Meanwhile, first-stage successful candidates will be announced on October 19 at 2:00 PM on the Admissions Information website. After the interview on November 14, the final successful candidates will be announced on December 6 at 2:00 PM.
