"Classic masterpieces you want to see again—meet them at the museum every Thursday"
The University Museum, which serves not only as a venue for exhibiting cultural properties but also as a complex cultural space for university members and local residents, will screen beloved classic films free of charge every Thursday.
This free film screening series was arranged again this semester in response to strong demand from local residents and university members last semester. It will be held every Thursday at 2:00 PM in the University Museum Auditorium from September 6 to November 22.
This semester's program is organized monthly, featuring films based on true stories, twist-ending films, and enduring classics. On September 6, the series begins with Ron Howard's A Beautiful Mind, followed by The Pursuit of Happyness on the 13th, The Blind Side on the 20th, and The Pianist on the 27th.
In October, the twist-filled films Shutter Island and The Sixth Sense will be screened. In November, enduring classics such as Life Is Beautiful, Knocking on Heaven's Door, The Shawshank Redemption, and Forrest Gump are scheduled to be shown.
All screenings are free. Anyone, including university members and local residents, may attend and enjoy the films.
