"Students, enjoy a snack and do well on your final exams."
On June 12 at 8:00 p.m. in front of the Learning Library at Jeonbuk National University (JBNU), students studying hard for their bright futures during the final exam period and Vice-President Shin Hyo-geun, together with university headquarters officials, library personnel, students, and staff, shared bread and milk symbolizing "communication" and exchanged warm smiles.
Continuing its yearly practice of encouraging students at the start of each semester and during exam periods, JBNU once again visited students in person during the final exam period.
At the snack-sharing event that day, 1,200 servings of bread and milk were distributed to students wrestling with their books through the night at the Learning Library, the Central Library, and the Iksan Campus, encouraging them and sharing warm support.
Kim Mi-rim, a second-year student in the Department of German Language & Literature, said, "I was deeply moved to see the president and faculty members in administrative posts visit students in person during every exam period. I had thought it would only be difficult and exhausting, but this unexpected encouragement gave me great strength."
