Our university, together with the Samsung Welfare Foundation, will run the 'Dream Class' program to support after-school learning for middle school students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Accordingly, the two institutions recently signed a memorandum of understanding and agreed to actively participate in the Dream Class program.
The program is a collaboration between our university and the Samsung Welfare Foundation to provide equal educational opportunities to young people who will lead the future, helping them develop into the kind of talent society needs.
Our university will select students with strong character and a commitment to service to serve as after-school instructors for disadvantaged middle school students, and the Samsung Welfare Foundation will award scholarships to the university student instructors according to the classes they teach.
Selected student instructors visit the students twice a week for six-month terms to provide academic tutoring, life counseling, and other activities.
