Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) has enhanced its reputation as the nation’s leading institution for training social workers by recording the highest pass rates each year on the national social worker examinations.

JBNU achieved a remarkable result in the recently announced 10th National Social Worker Level-1 Examination, with all examinees passing.

This year the national average pass rate was 43.6%, and JBNU's pass rate is regarded as unrivaled nationwide.

The Department of Social Welfare, which achieved a 100% pass rate and produced the first- and second-place examinees in the inaugural National Social Worker Level-1 Examination held in 2003, has recorded the highest pass rates nationwide every year.

JBNU's consistent top performance each year on the National Social Worker Level-1 Examination is attributed to three combined factors: the University Headquarters' active support to strengthen educational competitiveness; the department faculty's dedication to educating and training professional social workers; and the students' enthusiasm.

As a result, the Department of Social Welfare achieved outcomes such as placing 12th among universities nationwide in last year's departmental evaluation conducted by JoongAng Ilbo.
