Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) has been selected for the Education Capacity Enhancement Project for five consecutive years.
Notably, JBNU was the only institution selected among the four major regional national universities representing the Yeongnam and Honam regions. This reconfirmed that JBNU's educational achievements and conditions, developed through sustained efforts to strengthen education quality, are among the highest levels for national universities.
With this achievement, following last year’s selection for the "Advancement of Undergraduate Education Leading University Support Project (ACE Project)," JBNU has again been selected for the Education Capacity Enhancement Project this year, overcoming extremely adverse conditions. This will allow JBNU to lay the foundation to become one of the nation's leading teaching universities.
It is assessed that by consistently pursuing initiatives to strengthen basic education, enhance the quality of major education, and improve employability, JBNU has created an opportunity to continuously raise its educational competitiveness.
Through the Education Capacity Enhancement Project, JBNU has implemented improvements in teaching methods to better instruct students and has provided an environment that enables students to engage in self-directed and creative learning.
In this regard, JBNU received the highest rating in the Education Capacity Enhancement Project performance evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. Its detailed programs have also been selected as excellent programs for two consecutive years, drawing nationwide attention from universities.
JBNU plans to ensure that its educational competitiveness translates into students' employability through careful analysis of its initiatives and systematic project implementation.
