Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) produced the second-highest number of successful candidates nationwide in the recent NH Nonghyup Bank recruitment for entry-level bank employees.

In this NH Nonghyup open recruitment, which recorded a high competition rate of 37.7 to 1, 25 JBNU graduates were successful, demonstrating the markedly enhanced competitiveness of JBNU alumni nationwide.

JBNU's strong performance in the NH Nonghyup open recruitment is attributable to the university's own career development program, the Keun-Saram Project, which provides students with structured, year-by-year career management, and to the 'Lifelong Faculty Advising System,' a Ministry of Labor-selected excellent employment program that has promoted close faculty–student communication and effective career guidance.

In particular, regularly inviting leading domestic companies for briefing sessions to showcase graduates' true capabilities and proactively visiting companies to explain the strengths of JBNU and its students have laid a foundation for these positive outcomes.

Additionally, programs that involve direct company exploration, such as the 'Becoming a Company Expert' program, a substantial expansion of university-supported career clubs, and the creation of an environment in which students independently focus on researching and preparing for their target employers have also been important factors in the university's success.

Moreover, major renovations of the first floor of the Learning Library and the interior of the former University Headquarters to create study rooms, among other improvements to students' learning conditions, are helping students prepare for employment in a better environment.
