The Center for Gifted Education in Science (Director Ahn Byung-jun) is expected to become a hub for identifying outstanding gifted students in Jeonbuk's renewable energy sector, a regional growth engine.

This is because the Center for Gifted Education in Science recently signed an agreement with Jeonbuk Technopark at the Buan Renewable Energy Complex to nurture budding talents in the renewable energy field and to facilitate mutual information-sharing, education, and administrative support.

At the signing, Director Ahn Byung-jun of the Center for Gifted Education in Science and Director Shim Seong-geun of Jeonbuk Technopark, among others, attended and discussed a range of collaborative initiatives to promote education and development projects in the renewable energy sector.

Accordingly, the two organizations agreed to work closely to identify gifted students in science within the renewable energy field, share information on educational and hands-on activities, and jointly implement diverse educational programs.

Director Ahn Byung-jun said, 'Through this agreement with Jeonbuk Technopark, students studying at the Center for Gifted Education in Science will have a valuable opportunity to develop into outstanding professionals in renewable energy, a future growth industry. We will do our best to establish an integrated cooperation system and thereby contribute to the cultivation of gifted students in science who serve the nation and local communities.'
