"Everyone's life is finite. I hope you live each day happily."

Park Yeol-hae, President of the College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Association (Director of Sunchang Animal Hospital), delivered a special lecture titled "Guardian Angels and the Relationship with Animals" at Jinsudang Gain Hall on March 7 at 2:00 p.m.

Organized as part of workplace training for staff, the lecture was attended by 300 people. Through the lecture, Director Park presented guidance on living a desirable life and received a strong response.

President Park said that public officials should possess five virtues: firm principles, honesty, integrity, kindness, and humility.

In particular, drawing on the various animal behaviors he observed during his 37 years as a veterinary hospital director, he reflected on human life and emphasized, "One must not become a person worse than a dog."

He said, "No matter how much you study or how much wealth you accumulate, a life cannot be called successful if you become a person worse than a dog," and added, "I hope you live with the mindset that half of every matter is your responsibility and lead a life that considers others."

Finally, he emphasized, "Whether human or animal, we all live a life with a predetermined end. Abandon greed, the root of all conflicts, and live each day with a mindset of happiness."
