"We are very pleased to be a supporting hospital of Jeonbuk National University (JBNU), which is taking a leap onto the world stage, and to be able to contribute to the development of the local community."

On January 25 at 1:00 p.m., Im Geon-muk, Chief Physician and Founder of Goeun Mirae Dermatology Clinic in Jeonju, together with Lee Ki-tae, Director of the Songcheon Branch, and Kim Kwang-min, Director of the Hyoja Branch, donated KRW 36 million to support JBNU's development.

Goeun Mirae Dermatology, which currently operates four branches in Jeonbuk, heard that JBNU operates a supporting-hospital system and decided to put into practice what they had long intended for the development of the region and the university.

As a result, the three Jeonju branches of the clinic pooled their contributions and donated the development fund to support JBNU's development.

Im Geon-muk said, "I have long been interested in activities for the local community. I believed that supporting JBNU, which is growing into one of the country's leading universities, would be a way to contribute to regional development. I hope this donation serves as a valuable foundation for JBNU's growth into a distinguished university that leads regional and national development."

In response, President Seo Geoseok said, "We are deeply grateful for your great interest in and support for the university's role in regional development. We will redouble our efforts to grow into the nation's top university and become a source of pride for the region," he replied.
