제목 : DESCRIPTIONS OF LONG TIME BEHAVIOR OF SMALL GLOBAL SOLUTIONS
TO GENERALIZED BBM EQUATIONS
초록 : In the series of seminar talks, we are going to discuss long-time behavior of global solutions to generalized Benjamin-Bona-Mahony (gBBM) equation with rigorous proofs. More precisely, we show three theorems: first, we show small global solution to gBBM must decay to zero as t → 1 in large portions of the physical space. Second, we prove that, under suitable decay assumptions (but without smallness assumption), zero-speed and breather solutions do not exist because the identically zero solution is the global attractor of the dynamics, at least in a spatial interval of size t1/2- along the ray x = t. Lastly, we reduce the decay assumptions in the second theorem but prove only weak decay property of global solutions.
