A special doctoral program was launched by Chonbuk National University.

‘The Dragon Project’ is a degree course designed for professors in China who do not have a Ph. D., to vitalize the academic exchanges with universities in the neighboring country of Korea.

24 professors from China joined the project for the fall semester this year, each of whom will pursue the doctoral study in her/his own field.

“Providing opportunities to Chinese professors will cultivate outstanding China specialists and promote research cooperation between the two countries,” said President Nam Ho Lee in the opening ceremony on 7th September.
