Geonjians did voluntary work for former military sexual slaves
On September 10th, three Geonjians went to the House of Share(나눔의 집) in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do to do volunteer work for old women who are former military sexual slaves of the Japanese Army. They were accompanied by students from Wooseok University, Wonkwang University, and Chonnam University and some Japanese students. 2006 Catch Phrase Contest on Love for School
Song Geun-young, a junior of Industrial Design Department, won the first prize with the phrase, "My youthful navigation, Chonbuk National University" at "2006 Catch Phrase Contest on Love for School". Public Relations office recruited catch phrases to improve the brand value of school with all members' love for school for three weeks starting on March 13th. About 151 Geonjians participated in the contest with 232 phrases.
