International Student Culture Festival a Success
With Hangeul Day(which commemorates the birth of the Korean alphabet) approaching, our university held a Korean Speech contest and Poetry Exhibition for international students along with a traditional culture experience festival in front of the West Gate on October 7th, 2011.

To add to the recent praise our university received in the student satisfaction and Chosun Ilbo publication, Chonbuk National University(CBNU) accomplished the feat of being 8th among Korean universities in the World University Rankings.

CBNU Buan Regional Innovation System (Buan RIS) launched a new 100% sugar-free premium mulberry jam in collaboration with Bokumjari, the nation's largest seller of fruit jams.

Chuseok Festival for International families receives positive response
Chonbuk National University held a special ceremony commemorating the upcoming Hangawi, the Korean harvest festival, for international students and their family.

CBNU members provide flood relief to Jungeup-si Sanoe-myeon
Chonbuk National University is setting the example by providing relief in areas that were severely affected by the recent torrential floods.
