▶Interview
Kyoung-Suk Choi became a member of the Department of International Trade at Jeonbuk National University in September 2018. She teaches subjects including international transportation and insurance and international logistics.
She obtained two Ph.D. degrees from Jeonbuk National University in Korea and Shandong Normal University in China. Her research field is international transportation and logistics. Specifically, she has been conducting research related to maritime and railway transportation, as well as Chinese logistics. She has published several papers in international journals, including Transportmetrica A, Maritime Policy & Management, Transportation Journal, Transport Policy, and the International Journal of Shipping and Transport Logistics.
In 2021, she received two awards: JBNU Young Fellow and Best Teacher. The following year, she was honored with the Best Teacher Award, as selected by international students.
